A Drop In Centre For Street Youth Ages 16 To 24

STREET CONNECTION is a drop in centre serving at-risk vulnerable street youth (ages 16-24). We are located at 258 Horton Street, London, Ontario (crossroads Horton and Wellington Streets). Immediately south of the new Salvation Army-Centre of Hope directly east of CarQuest / directly north of Goodwill it is a two storey grey block building with two purple stripes around the building.

The London Homeless Coalition’s Community Plan on Homelessness identifies homeless street youth and youth at-risk of homelessness as a targeted group in need of support. This group is one of the fastest rising sub-populations of homeless people in Canada. STREET CONNECTION is one of the few organizations that specifically targets and provides service and support to homeless youth in London. The federal government’s National Homelessness Initiative (NHI) also lists the issue of homeless youth and youth at-risk of becoming homeless as a priority.
